But this provision is being threatened in the House-Senate conference...Fix Housing First"

Think about it - A tax credit would stimulate spending. As the plan stands, banks, financial institutions, auto companies, etc. - people who took high risk, companies run into the ground by culprits of the collapse, are benefitting from TARP, but what provisions are there that go directly to the consumer???
