Needham Bowlaway Made It To NECN's Greg's List

Let me tell you that my grandson absolutely loves Needham Bowlaway and I am so glad that they are in business.    Before the summer ends you just have just got to go to the Needham Bowlaway.  It is under new management and the story is right here on this video from NECN's very Greg.  This bowlaway started in 1917.  That was not a na easy time to be starting a business.  Have some fun and break away from it all for a bowling game.  Take your children or grandchildren.

I remember being on a bowling team and it was a blast then way back in 1972 and 1973.  Such fun.  Come and see

Life Is Good In Needham And In Boston

Life Is Good in Needham and In Boston

Lots to do in Needham but also we are less than 11 miles to Boston. We all went to take a ride on "Codzilla" which is tour by Boston Harbor Cruises http://www.bostonharborcruises.com/ What a blast. We all loved it. I have to admit that I was a little unsure because I like rides and hate roller coasters but this was just intense enough for me. My granddaughter wants to have her next birthday party on the boat. The 2 guys that dialoged througout the trip were so much fun. One of the guys definitely should try acting because he was superb and his low voice worked very well. What fun. Acctually it was "wicked fun."

I love the city and sharing it with my family is the best. I was born in the city and I won't say how long ago but the city is still in me. I love being near the ocean and there we were in it.

We left there and headed for Fanueil Hall for shopping and some history. Of course, shopping in the Quincy Market is always fun and a tasty bite in the food court was delicious too. www.faneuilhallmarketplace.com/

I thought we were heading home and then my son decided to go to South Boston and over to Castle Island and that was fun. We took the 45 minute tour which was very informative if you are a history buff like I am you would love it. Then some of us waded in the ocean for a little refreshment.

We could have kept going to Old Ironsides, etc. but Football Season starts for the my grandsons and they had to get their equipment so home we went.

If you live in Needham it is a quick car ride to the Boston or a train ride or MBTA ride and there are millions of things to do that are fun.
