L'Aroma Cafe & Bakery is an urban oasis tucked away at 15 Spencer Street nested behind West Newton Center. The Cafe is cozy yet spacious with a second floor that would be ideal for coffee meetings. The shop offers wifi and is a great spot for a quiet place to work on a laptop! This week I met my friend, Edye for a lunch at L'Aroma. The soup was a corn chowder and it was delicious. It was a treat to select from the wide selection of specialty teas and coffees. The friendly staff is eager to please. If I had a daughter, I would take here there for a special mother-daughter tea. Come to think of it, even my teenage son might accompany me for a scoop of gelato. Any excuse to stop rushing around and take a little quality time to sit and chat.
