The Preserve at Lake Wildwood is located off of Williams Street on Dairy Drive in Upton Massachusetts and is the top luxury home neighborhood in the town.
The homes in The Preserve at Lake Wildwood were built by Mike Kane of M.G. Kane Properties, a well respected local builder. Mike has been building in the area for years and has always had a sterling reputation for building a quality home.
What you will find in this Upton neighborhood is homes that are designed for today's lifestyle. As you can see from the pictures the homes facades have "massing" with multiple roof lines and beautiful details.
The interiors are characterized by wide open spaces with large kitchens and family rooms. Many of the homes have dramatic two story foyers and a 1st floor study.
Mike was never one to take short cuts. All of his homes are appointed well with rich moldings, wainscoting, and plenty of hardwood flooring. The homes in this subdivision were built between 2004 and 2005.
As of October 2008 most of the homes in The Preserve would have a value between $600,000 and $700,000. The homes range in size between 3200 - 4000+ square feet. The majority of the homes are between 3500 to 3600 square feet.
The minimum lot size is 40,000 square feet or what is known as a "builders acre". The typical home here has four bedrooms and 2.5 to 3.5 bathrooms.
Some of the homes have a 3 car garage but most of them are two cars.
The Preserve at Lake Wildwood is located just out of Upton Center heading toward Grafton on Route 140. As the name implies, it is in close proximity to Lake Wildwood.
Upton is located just to the West of Hopkinton. Many folks end up settling in Upton after seeing what they can get for their money in more expensive towns such as Westboro, Hopkinton, and Southboro.
Depending on the neighborhood, homes like these in one of the aforementioned towns could easily be a 100k more.
Commuting from Upton is not bad, as the the 495 exits in Hopkinton are about 6 miles away. The Mass Pike is the 1st exit North on 495.
