Edgemoor is an amazing neighborhood in an amazing location!!! It is one of the most sought after neighborhoods in close proximity to the District. It is an eclectic mix of new and old homes, traditional and contemporary styles and large and small lots. Typically families stay for a significant period of time because there is no place to move that can offer the same amenities. Often neighbors will trade up and down, renovate their home or build a new home. The entry fee into the neighborhood is pricey but residents feel well worth it!

1. Location, Location, Location

Edgemoor residents can stroll into Downtown Bethesda in just a few minutes and take advantage of the finest shops, restaurants and amenities Bethesda has to offer. There is a renovated Giant grocery store on Arlington Road that is very convenient to the neighborhood! Edgemoor is also located in close proximity to Downtown Washington by car or by metro as the Bethesda Metro Station (red line) is walking distance from the neighborhood. It is a stone's throw from Tyson's Corner & Downtown Rockville, I-495, and I-270 and all three Metro area airports: Dulles International Airport (IAD), Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA), and Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI).

2. Edgemoor Citizens Association

The Edgemoor Citizens Association is a volunteer organization that oversees both important issues affecting the security and future development of the area along with social activities including annual events such as the 4th of July and Halloween parades, The Edgemoor Classic 5k, biannual House and Garden tours and many other gatherings throughout the year. The Edgemoor Citizens Association includes the residents of Edgemoor, Bradley Village and a portion of Bradley Hills. There is also an email listserv exclusive to current and past residents to share information, news and events.

3. The Edgemoor Club
