Please remember... when visiting an Open House the agent there is solely representing the Seller which is what I do when I hold an open house.
If you are already represented by an agent that should not be a problem as many open house agents honor that relationship. Just let them know when you arrive. HOWEVER if you do not have an agent and would like Buyer Representation when purchasing a home you just may want talk to an agent (like me) who can help you. I would be happy to discuss how Buyer Agency works and how it can help you in your purchase power when buying a home.
Other than my very own listings... I can represent you in the purchase of any home available for sale whether listed with my brokerage or another brokerage. As for my own listings... please know that I will always treat you fairly and ethically and share everything I know about the house itself.
If you would like Buyer Representation when buying a home give me a call. I will be happy to explain how it works and how I can help.

Does baseball have anything to do with the home buying season?
Just read BLiz's soon to be Featured Active Rain Blog-Even though I don't gamble I'm going to call this one before the Active Rain Staff gets to it Are You Ready To Step Into The Batter's Box? . I can't re-blog so I have to write another blog about it.
I really like BLiz's analogy in their blog. They said " Well a good REALTOR® is much like that baseball hitter, except we NEVER have an offseason! We step into the batter's box EVERY day. We're continually watching the market, learning new skills, seeing what the competition is doing and making those minute adjustments that are the difference between that strike out and the home run that gets your home SOLD!.
But as soon as I finished reading their blog I started thinking. Major League Baseball regular season starts around March the same month as spring. And we all know that in spring home buying season starts to heat up like Miami Heat NBA Superstar Lebron James getting his groove back like Stella in the 4th quarter and winning the game for his team after going three quarters cold. (WE ARE NOT GOING TO INCLUDE YESTERDAY'S BOSTON LOST-LOL). But the Major League Baseball season ends around October which is around the time home buying activity decreases.
We all know that usually when the economy is in good condition, the housing market is performing well in most areas. So does baseball have an effect on the Real Estate Market? Maybe the Washington Nationals will finally have a winning season this year since Washington DC Real Estate Market is one of the best Real Estate Markets at the moment. People are still buying houses for sale in Baltimore Md as well. So if any one of players for the Baltimore Orioles is looking to buy a Baltimore City County for sale in Brooklyn Park or Baltimore County house for sale,I know some competent and knowledgeable real estate professionals who I can refer you too.

Some Brooklyn Park residents looking to rehab their homes could receive financial help from a county public agency.
Chauncey Hall, the program director for Arundel Community Development Services Inc., will explain the Property Rehabilitation Program and the Brooklyn Park Property Rehabilitation Program at the Arundel Neighborhoods Association meeting at 7 pm, November 24 in the Brooklyn Park Library located at 1 E. 11th Ave in Brooklyn Park.
The Brooklyn Park program focuses on the following streets: Ballman Court, Brookwood, Southerly, Patrick Henry, Wasena, E. 11th, Victory, 4th Street, Wood, Cross, Dell and 1st Street. Other streets can participate in the Property Rehabilitation Program but the funding comes from a different pot of money.
Both programs help eligible homeowners repair their homes. Repairs could include new roofs, installing or replacing heating and ventilation systems, and correcting health, safety and other code violations.
The programs provide loans to eligible borrowers at a 0% interest rate with payments deferred for 30 years. Many borrowers will make no payments on the loan for 30 years, unless they sell the home or transfer title.
A construction specialist will work with property borrowers to prepare a construction work write-up and select a qualified, licensed contractor. After that, the construction specialist will work with both to ensure the work is being completed timely and satisfactorily.
There are income requirements and owining and living in a home in the county. Besides owning and living in a townhome on the streets indicated in Brooklyn Park for the Brooklyn Park program, participants must agree to do exterior improvements to their home in accordance with the program's standards and meet the income requirements.
Brooklyn Park is one of three areas - the others are Glen Burnie and the Spring Meadows and Stillmeadows areas - to have similar programs.
For details about the meeting, call President Gary O'Neil at 410-789-4480.
