Maryland Mortgage Program for Prince George's County MD Home buyers. While I was driving to bookstore Borders Books at Capital Center Boulevard in Largo Maryland to do some prospecting,I heard someone on the radio 104.1 FM talk about the Maryland Mortgage Program
Maryland Mortgage Program has been holding workshops all year (I guess I am tardy to the party-I am so naughty-LOL!). I have heard of thie program of course. But I don't know too much about it. So this class would be good for me or anyone who is new to CDA and need a CDA refresher course.
So do you want to talk with CDA Staff? Come and hear from CDA Staff about new developments in the Maryland Mortgage Program (MMP),and more importantly, how you can successfully utilize the MMP for your customers and clients.

Can you paint a house that you haven't even purchased yet? I am at my office today doing work when somebody at the front desk said somebody looking for help parked on Line 2. So I figured it out how to pick up a telephone call (Second week at my new office).
Anyway make a long story short(I am going to try my best-PRAY FOR ME) someone called about a particular property. She gave me the address and I tried to look it up. I had no luck finding the address. I had to Google it-Thank Goodness for Good ol' Google. Finally I found the address and I looked it up. I told her that the property is under contract. But I told her that there are currently many houses for sale in Capitol Heights MD in that price range. But she really wanted this house. She even told me that she knows its not good to put all your eyes in one basket. I guess she was trying to say was "never get too emotionally attached to a property because you are competing with many other ready, willing and able buyers who are interested in the same property and you might end up losing to the highest bidder and have your heart broken in the process".
So she said that she is so in love with this property. She even painted this property. WHAT? IS THIS A JOKE? She said her fiance paid someone $200 to paint the house. You paid someone $200 to paint a house that does not even belong to you yet?
That's when my mind went blank for a quick second. I thought you are interested in buying this property, not selling it. And I asked her that if she had a real estate agent that she was working with and she said Yeah. So I told them that I am so sorry that I can't really help you as much as I would like you to because you are already working with a real estate agent.
She went on talking about right now they can afford to pay around $82,000-$85,000. The house that she is interested in Capitol Heights MD was already UNDER CONTRACT around $145,000. That's like $60,000 under what you have been pre-qualified for. I asked if she has been pre-approved and she said Yes. Anyway to all current, potential and future home buyers reading this blog, never paint a house in the middle of the home buying transaction. Why? Because the house does not belong to you yet. PAINT YOUR DREAM HOUSE ONCE YOU HAVE PURCHASED IT,NOT BEFORE YOU HAVE PURCHASED IT
