Become a Friend of the Trolley this year! Article published by BBG Group Email

As the 2011 season of the Beach Trolley Association approaches, the BTA Board of Directors and our over 12,500 riders from last year invite you to become a Friend of the Trolley. Your contribution of $100, $50 or $25 will help continue the operation of the trolley that so many beach residents and visitors have come to enjoy.

In 2011, the Dunkirk Trolley will operate from the Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum to Dunkirk with stops at Walmart, Safeway and Rita's, as well as the Calvert Library at Chaneyville Road and the World Gym. It will operate on a one hour loop, beginning each hour at the Railway Museum, passing through Dunkirk on the half hour and arrive back at the Railway Museum on the hour.

The Beach Trolley will again operate from the Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum to Herrington Harbour South, traveling through the Towns of Chesapeake Beach and North Beach. It will also operate on a one hour loop, beginning each hour at the Railway Museum, arriving at Herrington Harbour South on the half hour, then arrive back at the Railway Museum on the hour.

The above two loops are laid out so that someone traveling from Dunkirk on the Dunkirk Trolley could meet up with the Beach Trolley at the Railway Museum and travel to North Beach or Herrington Harbour without a wait.

The Anne Arundel Trolley will again operate from Herrington Harbour South to Skipper's Pier in Deale, with a stop at Herrington Harbour North. This loop will also operate on an hour schedule, leaving Herrington Harbour South on the half hour, arriving at Skipper's Pier on the hour and then arriving back at Herrington Harbour South on the half hour.

And, like the Dunkirk and Beach Trolleys, the Beach Trolley and the Anne Arundel Trolleys will meet at Herrington Harbour South, so passengers will not have to wait.

As we begin our plans for 2011, we hope that we can count on your support, as it is your support of the trolley that will allow its operation to continue.

YouMail.com and the iPAD for DAD

Cheryl Ritchie, Southern Maryland Real Estate: Real Estate Agent in Huntingtown, MD

YouMail.com and the iPAD for DAD has been my latest attention grabber. My Dad asked the other day how he could set up his phones for his Southern Maryland Garage business while soaking up the sun under a few Palm trees. I had just called Leilani Souza about something she mentioned in her blog. I have frequently exchanged comments with Leilani on Active Rain but this was my first call. I wanted to ask her about http://epropertysites.com/ and why she used it ALONG with Real Bird. She had written a blog post about it and I wanted to ask more questions. I have a lot of land listings and the pdf attachment feature versus a Scribd version caught my attention with the adjunct product.

Anyway, the voice mail greeted me, "Hi, Cheryl." HUH? I have never spoken or called this Active Rain Blogger before. So I got derailed on my original question and started asking about this www.YouMail.com product. Here are the YouMail price plans to get right down to business. It is a product that transcribes voice messges to emails and has an iPAD app. Which means, DRUM ROLL, that my DAD can be on his iPAD on vacation, my Mom can be shopping, he can be vacation type snoozing, and he has a "Secretary" less service to write down the messages and names and phone numbers plus address the the caller by name while he is shopping or sun basking or ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz on a few well earned days off.

Good thing I called Leilani a day or so before my Dad let me know he wanted his very own iPAD and he wanted a way to be Assistant FREE those days. I was Ready, Freddy, with an Active Rain tech tip that made him FLIP! And the answer just zipped right out of my big mouth!

You can listen to his music at www.richardharrislive.com If you like what you hear, if you would be kind enough to leave him a comment. It seems to give him inspiration. and with a song in anyone's heart, how could you go wrong?

Richard's CD has been such a huge success, it's being played all over radio stations around the world and in the US. I am so very proud of him and all that he has accomplished. He is very talented...the first song he recorded on his CD was "Someone To Watch Over Me"...dedicated to yours truly, me! And, to think it all started with the "Purple Visor"!! "
