The builder was approved for the ENERGY STAR designation a short while following the sale. However, they incorporated these valuable features in my buyers home. There was no added cost to the buyer.

KEEPING HEAT IN THE HOUSE IS IMPORTANT. The photo below shows one of the ENERGY STAR features. Heat is not permitted to escape into attics through the pull-down opening on the upper level.

This thermal material heat seal in the attic access is installed. Access to the attic is easy by simply unzippering the thermal shield. This is a visible example of the Energy Star features that reduce utility costs for home owners.
