India Palace in Cockeysville

India Palace in Cockeysville

I had the pleasure of having lunch at the India Palace in Cockeysville today. I love good food and I love ethnic foods so when I have the opportunity to try a new restaurant I do.

I have been wanting to try the India Palace and today I finally had the chance. The restaurant is located on the corner of Cranbrook Road and York Road in Cockeysville.

The restaurant is much larger than it looks from the outside and serves a great buffet. I find Buffet's are a great way to try different kinds of food to decide whether you like it or not. Fortunately, everything I tried today was fantastic. The Naan bread was fresh and warm, onion pakura was delicious and so were all the other dishes I tried and I finished it off with delicious rice pudding.

The week day lunch buffet is only $7.95 and there are loads of different dishes to choose from. I'll definitely be back.

The Best BBQ in Baltimore (perhaps Maryland) - Andy Nelson's BBQ

The Best BBQ in Baltimore (perhaps Maryland) - Andy Nelson's BBQ

It doesn't get much better than this. One of my favorite places to eat is Andy Nelson's BBQ located at 11011 York Road in Cockeysville. It might not be fancy but the service is great and the food is better. The menu is extensive and delicious. Meat is slow cooked over a hickory fire until it is fall of the bone delicious. We enjoyed a brisket sandwich and pulled pork Friday night for dinner. Greens are prepared in the traditional southern way. Sides include your choice of greens, bbq potato wedges, slaw, corn bread, corn on cob, potato salad, or bbq baked beans. My personal favorite are the greens and potato wedges but everything on the menu is equally delicious.

You can enjoy your meal inside in air conditioned comfort listening to the tunes of yester-year or outside in the picnic area. There's plenty of parking, or a drive through window and you can take your food home to enjoy there. You can order your food online and pick it up or call ahead. Check out their menu online. Sometimes you may even be able to get some delicious dirty rice. Ribs are fall off the bone delicious and can be ordered wet or dry. Come back often and try everything on the menu.
