Once again there are CHANGES TO FHA STREAMLINE REFINANCING beginning June 11, 2012, that could benefit YOU..
Dates are important. In order to REFINANCE two stipulations are that your mortgage must have been endorsed on or before May 31, 2009 and you must be current on your payments.
FHA will lower its Upfront Mortgage Insurance and reduce its annual premium for certain borrowers who qualify. This could make a difference to you and enable you to take advantage of the low interest rates. Although some restrictions appeared to be eased in the Streamline process this does not appear to be for the Homeowner who is upside down.
Go to the FHA website for more information on CHANGES TO FHA STREAMLINE REFINANCING and to determine what is available to YOU if you are underwater.
Homeowners who are upside down need to determine who is their Servicer to see which REFINANCE programs are available to them. The HARP or revised HARP programs may work for you if you have a Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac backed loan.
Since these changes are not in place yet your Lender's representative may not be familiar with them. Review the websites and dates of implementation and ask to speak to someone who does have the information you need.

MORE INFORMATION ON FDR BOULEVARD IN ST MARY'S MARYLAND is a follow up on FDR BOULEVARD IN ST MARY'S MARYLAND, written in February 2011.
On March 6, 2012 the majority of the St Mary's County Commissioners gave approval to move ahead with the FDR BOULEVARD, from the First Colony PUD, in California MD to Pegg Rd. in Lexington Park, MD.
It is anticipated that a part of FDR BOULEVARD will be completed between Great Mills Rd and South Shangri-La Dr. Lexington Park, this spring. Money was approved for the purchase of land needed for the continuation of FDR BOULEVARD further north, but construction will not occur until between fiscal 2015 and 2017.
The St Mary's County Commissioners are trying to be forward thinking, demonstrating their commitment to having the infrastructure in place to support the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. It is hoped that FDR BOULEVARD will become a connector road to neighborhoods and shopping districts alleviating traffic on Route 235. BRAC, Base Realignment and Closures, decisions are anticipated in 2015.
The fiscal 2013 budget goes to public hearing on May 1 and will be adopted by May 30, 2012.

The purpose of this LEAD PAINT LEGISLATION would be to create a state-run fund to compensate victims of lead-paint poisoning up to $200,000. This Bill was initiated after a law limiting compensation to $17,000 was declared unconstitutional in October 2011.
