These numbers are very clear that the number of homes selling in Forest Hill Maryland has droped drasticaly over the last 2 years. The average sales price of homes in Forest Hill has also dropped over 30% in the last 2 years which is consistent with most areas in Harford County real estate.

Now don't get so excited about the circus being in town; I didn't say the Big Top, I said the Big TARP! Forest Hill's old "C-Mart" building remains empty no more!!! In its place is a huge indoor flea market with over 35,000 square feet of space and an absolute auction center.
The Flea Market is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8AM to 4PM. With over 130 vendors, there is a mini-mart, toys, collectibles, sports memorabilia and so much more. New items and new vendors are added each and every week. Spaces are still available for vendors who would like to sell their wares.

The live absolute auctions open at 2:00 pm every other Wednesday and begin at 4:00 pm. The next absolute auction is scheduled for February 4, 2009. Consignments are currently being accepted for the auctions on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. For additional information call 443-823-1545.
For the many new comers to Harford County, the "C-Mart" building (which is how it will be known forever) is located at 1503-11 Rock Spring Road in Forest Hill.
In these economic times everyone is trying to save some money. Bargains are there to be found. So this is a great place to venture to. I will be at the February 4 auction. How about you???????

WHAT DOES THIS DATA SUGGEST? (IN MIKE'S OPINION)
There is good news and mostly bad news! Good news is that there were a few homes in the Forest Hill Real Estate Housing Market in Harford County Maryland did sell in December of 2008. The bad news is basically everything esle, total volume is down significantly, prices have come down significantly, days on market are up, and there is a lot of inventory out there. Further investigation into these numbers also shows that the town homes, condos, and single family homes that are selling in Forest Hill, Maryland are the ones that are priced basically under $450,000 (probably mostly to first time home buyers). Only one sold for over $450,000 and was priced between $500,000 and $599,000. If you have a home and are priced over $450,000 right now in Forest Hill, Maryland, there is probably not much activity going on.
