had to employ an array of tactics to get the main person in charge and we closed 4 days later

Butler's Orchard in Germantown, MD
Pick Your Own Vegetables, Pumpkins, Flowers and Hayrides For The Kids Too! 
One of my favorite places to go and buy apples at this time of year is Butler's Orchard in Germantown, MD. A tradition in my family that goes back to when I was little boy, my mother used to buy apples by the bushel and bring them home for canning and baking.
With nearly a dozen varieties of apples to choose from, if you're an apple lover like me, this is the place to go. One of my fondest memories of my childhood, Butler's Orchard remains today as an outstanding farmer's market serving the community.
It's tucked away in the woods in Germantown, MD and makes for a wonderful morning or afternoon for the entire family. They have hayrides for the kids and plenty there to capture a child's imagination.
If you don't want to pick your own fruits and vegetables, you can always purchase them at their well stocked store. With their incredible homemade pies, jellies and ciders to name a few, I always load up my shopping cart with goodies.
The Halloween decorations this year were outstanding. Everything was a feast for the eyes!
My grandson searched for the perfect size pumpkin and he found it!
You can even pick flowers for your sweetie!
A wonderful place to relax and just stroll through the fields.
Everybody loves a good scarecrow!

GERMANTOWN MD TRUSTEE SALES - HARVEY WEST AUCTIONEERS
Harvey West Auctioneers has scheduled Maryland trustee sales.
Trustee sales auctions are open to the public and all qualified bidders. These sales are foreclosures by the secured mortgage lenders. Buyers should carefully read the newspaper advertisements that appear for three weeks before the sale date. The required deposits must be in the form of cash or certified funds. Most of the bidders use cashier's checks that are payable to themselves and endorse the checks when they are successful. Always check for cancellations before attending trustee sales. Seek professional advice if you do not have full knowledge of the risks. Since these transactions are not conditioned on the availability of mortgage financing, buyers should always have written pre-approval for financing with disclosure to the lender that the property is being purchased in 'as-is" condition. Normally, the properties are not offered for inspection.
The secured mortgage lenders are buying in most of the properties that are sold at the court house auctions. There's nothing worse than having a major appliance break, especially since most people depend heavily on their dish washer and laundry machines. Then, there is the inevitable choice that must be made: whether to repair it or just get a new one.
Of course, the primary factor to consider when making a decision is the cost of the repair versus the cost of replacing the appliance, factoring in such things as tax, installation, and removal and disposal of the broken unit. According to Angie's List, a national consumer ratings company, these things should also be considered:
Age/History - Older appliances may require ongoing service, which could cost more over time than simply buying something new. On the other hand, if you have not had trouble with the appliance in the past, it might be worth fixing it.
Energy Efficiency - New appliances could save you considerably when it comes to energy costs. Determine if the energy savings will offset the cost of a new appliance. In addition, tax credits may be available on energy-efficient units.
Features/Performance - As technology advances, appliances have more and more features and can do more things. Putting cost aside, purchasing a new appliance might be the right choice simply because it improves your quality of life.
If the decision is to purchase a new appliance, remember that quality products tend to last longer, and that proper care will help prevent problems and reduce the need for repairs.
