Pool management and maintenance was discussed concerning the neighborhood pools. A community member who is in property management commented on RSV who is currently managing the Milestone pools. The community member said that he thinks RSV is one of the best pool maintenance companies in the area. A different community member brought up the Milestone pool safety and recommended that the lifeguards be regularly tested for security measures. The committee voted to extend the pool maintenance contract with RSV Pools and it was approved. Purchasing Funbrellas was also voted on and passed 6-0 by the committee. Two Funbrellas will be installed in 2010 and will be 20 feet.
Pool parking lot seal coating was discussed. A proposal was brought to the committee which would seal the cracks and provide maintenance to other parts of the parking lot. The committee voted and the proposal was passed unanimously.
Two neighbor complaints were addressed. One neighbor emailed the committee with specific safety concerns. The committee decided that the concerns were beyond the control of the HOA and they agreed to email the neighbor to suggest alternative actions. The second neighbor requested that a certified letter fee be waived and it was agreed upon by the committee.
Landscaping was discussed and it was voted to complete some minimal maintenance needs within the community.
