If you are looking for a family owned, comfortable, easy place to have a meal that is not far off the beaten track, stop by the Lansdowne Inn.

We stopped here after being out and about in downtown Baltimore. It's just off the beltway at 2710 Hammonds Ferry Road. Just take Exit 9 off 695, veer to the right and make a left at the first stop light. Travel less than 1/2 mile and the restaurant is on the left.

I have never had a bad meal at the Lansdowne Inn. It's a place you can stop for lunch or dinner and always find something to satisfy. If you are looking for fancy, this is not the right place. If you are looking for a casual atmosphere, great food and wonderful service than the Lansdowne Inn is one to try. They offer a wide variety of food and their shrimp salad is piled high and dee-lish!
