The Newtowne Players will perform "Over the River and Through the Woods" by Joe DiPietro.
Thursdays through Sundays, Jan. 22 through Feb. 7, 2010. Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances start at 8 p.m. & Sunday shows begin at 3:30 p.m.
Performances are held at Three Notch Theatre. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students, senior citizens and the military. Thursday shows are $10 general admission. Light refreshments and beverages are also available for purchase at the theatre.

Turn left onto Route 246/Great Mills Rd.
Turn right onto at Route 235/Three Notch Rd.
Take second right into Three Notch Theatre parking lot.
From North of Lexington Park
Drive south on Route 235/Three Notch Rd.
Drive past the stoplight for Gate 2/Great Mills Rd.
Take second right into Three Notch Theatre parking lot.
From Calvert County
Take Route 4 South over the Johnson Bridge into St. Mary's County
Turn left onto South Route 235/Three Notch Rd.

Over the River and Through the Woods - When two sets of doting Italian-American grandparents and their grandson, Nick, all get together every Sunday for dinner, there's plenty of food and, of course, advice. Its 1984, the year of VCRs, answering machines, Trivial Pursuit and problems. Nick has to announce that after 29 years of Sunday dinners, he's received a promotion and is moving across the country to Seattle. Hilarity ensues when his loving grandparents devise a plan to keep him from moving. This is a poignant and heartwarming tale of family love and relationships that everyone can relate to.
