The full service real estate brokerage is continuing its support of children in communities across Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland by collecting back to school supplies at each of its 13 branch offices.

According to the company, the supplies collected during the drive July 13 – August 17 will be donated to community organizations to distribute to underprivileged students in the area. Individuals and businesses who wish to contribute to the drive can drop off school supplies at one of the thirteen local CENTURY 21 New Millennium offices. Anything from pencils to backpacks will be accepted.

Gardening is actually a form of exercise: 45 minutes is the equivalent of 30 minutes of aerobic exercising. It can also improve flexibility and strength. For older people gardening is a good way to get yourself outside and keep your body young and moving. In fact, to improve insomnia, arthritis, osteoporosis, depression and other conditions many people opt for "horticulture therapy". Even people with dementia and anxiety have report relaxed and calming states after working with plants or gardening.

Working in the dirt and sunshine is a great stress reducer. Weeding is a good way to let outside problems unwind as you focus on those pesky plants. Unplugging from the fast paced world including media, internet, politics, phone calls is also a stress reducer. Gardening teaches you patience and helps you to slow down at least once a day. You cannot speed up the process, but over time the benefits are that much more rewarding. You even boost your creativity by choosing color schemes in flowers and how to arrange the placement of your plants. Great, great therapy!

Lusby, Maryland: Golf Courses in Lusby: CHESAPEAKE HILLS GOLF CLUB I have recently taken up the game of golf... I got myself a purple set of clubs... have yet to invest in any flashy clothes or shoes...but the day is young..

With my new hobby, I have started to take notice of just how many golf courses there are in the area... I have recently gotten my Associate Brokers license in Maryland...and am actively working with buyers and sellers.... so I have been spending more and more time here...

As my public service, nay, my civic duty....... I am going to locate the golf courses in the area...and post them here.. If I can, I will play the course.. offend a few veteren golfers in the process.... hopefully not break too many windows of adjacent homes... but I will give you my novice opinion of the golf course...as always..."The World According to ME....
