Our new Silver Ridge project is off to a start and over the next few weeks you will see some nice changes. Silver Tree Suites sits on the water's edge of Deep Creek Lake. All the rooms are professionally decorated, thanks to Sam's wife, Ellen Housley. There is an onsite Fitness Center, Conference Rooms, Coffee Shop, Restaurant (closed till May) and Marina. This facility is close to the Wisp Ski Resort and all the lake activities. Our new web site launched just short of two weeks ago. It is a web site that is all about Deep Creek Lake. You will find lake and mountain information, places to shop, eat and stay and of course all the latest real estate information including ALL the properties for sale in Deep Creek Lake. This web site can be used so you can plan a trip to the area and even grab some tickets in advance.

Enjoy and come back in a few weeks, as the finishing touches will be in place and the web site will be finished.

What we think is an already great web site will soon have some more unique changes. Sam and I have hired Lance Bell and his office to take our this site and some improvements are already in the works. They are amazing and talanted designers.

Our web site www.DeepCreekLake360.com was launched about 10 days ago and had over 7000 hits in those few days. Now, I know the web is powerful and that 7000 hits is not really that great but it is 7000 folks who we hope some day will come back and look at all the cool and unique things we have!! I also know that we want people to get into the actual site but hits are a good start!

This web site is all about the Lake and Mountain activities at Deep Creek Lake. It helps you get familar with the area and you can plan activities in advance of a trip.

In 2004 on my first trip here, my husband and I fell in love with Deep Creek Lake. We like to explore different areas of the country on the weekends with our Porsche. We had not heard much about the area until some friends of ours bought a house here. So one holiday weekend we came up to Deep Creek Lake and looked around. That weekend we also bought a property, site unseen. Over the next few months we realized there was so much to explore and discover. Some discoveries we wished we knew about sooner, than later. Therefore the concept that our web site would not only cover real estate but also give you lots of information about the area. In 2007, Sam and I also started offering Concierge Service. That service continues to do well for us.

I had a chance to visit the second annual WinterFest in Oakland, Maryland last weekend and was surprised at the level of talent, ice sculptors from across the country, and the excitement being displayed by the children who attended. The new Lowes store in Oakland contributed a massive ice carving, complete with an ice sliding board. Judy Devlin's Book Market had an ice sculptor performing in front of her book store, that was designed and remodeled by her husband's firm, Devlin, Inc. You have to stop by her book store, it is an experience for all age groups.
