There are many different ways that you can use your garage to be beneficial to you. I decided that since I was getting ready to finish my basement that I would hire a contractor to come in and install some shelving for me to store my extra "seasonal items" (like holiday decorations, beach things, baby stuff, etc). Take a look at the BEFORE and AFTER to see just how much we can actually store up there. The contractor installed a shelf that was 4 feet out from the wall and 15 feet long. That is a lot of extra square footage of dead space that wasn't being used. He also eliminated a wall that was installed for easier access both in and out of the garage. HE DID AN ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING JOB AND IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT A PROJECT AND NEED AN AWESOME CONTRACTOR, GIVE HIM A CALL IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE! Just wait a few more days until he is finished framing out my basement please!!!
