Salsarita's - My favorite Mexican Restaurant in Prince Frederick MD

     I stopped in the other day to see Ronda Tracy the owner working hard preparing the fresh food for the day. All the salsa, sauces and meats are prepared fresh daily in the store.

     One thing I love about Mexican restaurants is that it is ready so fast but at Salsaritas in Prince Frederick they take it to a new level. The food is already prepared and served fresh right in front of you. There is a smorgasbord of meats, cheeses, fresh toppings and  freshly fried nacho shells.

     I LOVE nachos and Salsaritas makes them the only way any respectable nacho eating American likes them - Fresh fried chips covered in the works. Half the reason I love nachos is because you can order them as an appetizer and not have to wait for the entree but at Salsaritas I can eat them right away while they are still hot.

   You can also order another one of my favorites - Top shelf Margaritas! They have tons of different Mexican and domestic beers and every type of mixed drink you could want. I didnt know it but Salsaritas in Prince Frederick has full service catering. They will prepare everything, deliver and set it all up and... everything is disposable so no clean up.

     Ronda believes in supporting the local community sponsering a local mens softball league and at least once a month has a Spirit Night where 10% of the proceeds are donated to the local school being sponsored. She is also a member of the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce.

The Humane Society of Calvert County - General Meeting

The Humane Society of Calvert County, Inc., will be hosting a "New Year/New Ideas" general meeting for all current members, and the general public on Tuesday, February 2 from 7-8 PM at the Calvert Library in Prince Frederick, Rooms 2 & 3 only.

The HSCC is seeking new animal-loving members from the community who would like to join the HSCC, participate on committees, fund raise, volunteer in the office, dog walking and be involved in their mission of "Saving Lives 4 Paws at a Time".
