2010 Schedule - July

July 16 Youth and Beauty - Jeffrey Silberschlag and the Chesapeake Orchestra welcome the first annual Young Artist Con­certo Competition Winners, Nina DeCesare and Brian Hong and perform the world premiere of William Kleinssaser's "Many Rivers" and Prokofiev's "Symphony No. 5."

July 23 Next Stop: Vienna! - Jeffrey Silberschlag and the Chesapeake Orchestra welcome concertmaster José Cueto, as soloist, performing Lalo's "Symphonie espanole" and celebrate Mahler's 150th Birthday Anniversary with a performance of "Symphony No. 7".

July 30 The Grand Finale - Jeffrey Silberschlag and the Chesapeake Orchestra host Broadway Singing sen­sation and 2010 Tony Award nominee Kate Baldwin, with a festive finish to the summer season including a performance of Beethoven's "Symphony No. 5."

There are 3 kinds of "sits" available:

1- Serious Listening - in front of the stage - total silence!

2 - Casual Listening - in the middle - people who likes to talk, have a pick-nick and listen to the music at the same time.

3 - Serious socializing - far away from the stage - you know what I mean! ;)

Pick your sit and I see you there!

Don't forget: repellent, a chair, photo-camera, and a cooler with beverage, wine, whatever you like. There are stands selling stuff there if you don't want to bring nothing.
