The current list price for these homes is $277,450 and they have been on the market for 28 days. The prices range from $265,000 to $289,000; with days on the market ranging from 23 to 33 days.

There is only one 3 Bedroom home under some form of contract at the time of this report; its last list price was $274,500 and was on the market for near 2 and a half months (78 days).

Wintergate/LNGMD is a Garden apartment Condominium community in the 20906 zip code of Silver Spring Md. There are 445 homes in this community on the west side of Winter Gate Dr and north side of Longmeade Crossing Dr intersection. Wintergate Drive is off Norbeck Road east of Georgia Ave. Longmeade Crossing Dr intersects with Layhill Dr. north of Bel Pre Rd.

These 2 and 3 bedroom condos all with 2 full baths, some with fireplaces; were built in the early 1990's. The living space of these homes range from just over 850 sqft to over 1500 sqft.

Montgomery County Ride-On Bus route #26 comes through the community along Longmeade Crossing Rd, a short walk from the southern edge of this community giving the community easy access to the Glenmont and Twinbrook METRO stations, the two legs of the Redline. This bus can also by used to reach the Montgomery Mall with all its shops, eateries, and entertainment. The Layhill Center and Plaza del Mercado are two of the local shopping centers, that can also be reachable on this bus route; have banking, restaurants, groceries, gas stations and other stores. A secondary Ride-On Bus route #51 also comes near the community giving another bus going to the Glenmont Metro station.

As well as the local community tot lot, the closet county park is East Norbeck Park on Norbeck Road via Ride-On Bus route #51.

A Jan 30, 2008 check of the Montgomery County Public School Locator reveals that the community is in the Downcounty Consortium. The Elementary Schools that handle the community is currently either Bel PRE ES or Strathmore ES, the middle school for the community is Argyle MS, and the high school for the area is Kennedy HS.
