Solomons Island Events!  National Championship Race for the 2010 OPA Offshore Racing Series will be held in Solomon's Island MD 20688 begins on Sept 30th at Stoney's Kingfishers at 7:00 pm with The Racer Party.

GEICO has teamed with  Bayside Toyota/Chevrolet, the Chesapeake Bay Power Boat Association and sponsors to secure a knock-down, drag-out race course in front of the main sea wall on Solomon's Island, MD.

Spectators and fans will find plenty of parking and up-close viewing of some of the worlds fastest boats on the water today, racing for the Championship, including the World Famous  Miss GEICO

This is a fun filled day for the whole family! Don't forget to get an autograph from: the Time Bandit Captains (Jonathan and Andy Hillstrand) from Discovery's hit show Deadliest Catch on Sat at: Solomons Yachting Center

Calvert Marina will be having the Crane Open on Sat 9-5 & 9-6pm on Sunday

On Saturday, spectators and fans will be able to tour the Race Village & Pits where they can see the boats up close, meet the race teams, buy souvenirs & enjoy the food in Solomons, and much more.

On Saturday evening, all of the race boats and teams will be lined up down by "The Boardwalk" for a Key West style street party.

Sunday is Race Day, Along Solomon's Island Boardwalk you will be able to view the race & watch the amazing speeds these boats can go. The Awards Ceremony will be held at The Tiki Bar  on Sunday at 7:00pm.

Selling Real Estate in Southern Maryland and any other part of the world is all about competition. In the Southern Maryland Real Estate market, the better your properties look, the better chance you have of getting them SOLD!. Use that right lighting, that right angle and make that house look its absolute best.

Hundreds of houses fall with in the same price range in the same location. Southern Maryland Home Seller's, do you really want your lowest price being the factor that stands out amongst competition?  The first impression a buyer gets from your home is it's picture. It is time to  break out that camera baby!

A picture is worth a thousand words! We have all heard this.. Photography is all around us in this day and age. Technology is expanding as I write this post. You have got to keep up with the times to accurately advertise your home. Open up any magazine, go on and website, drive down any street, pictures sell. Not words anymore, but the beauty of image.--That's commercialism! We have been conditioned to respond to these images for decades. It's just plain bad business to ignore the importance of pictures.
