The fourth annual Calvert Wine & Arts Fest will be held on Saturday May 14, 2011 from 11am - 6pm. The festival will be held on the grounds of All Saint Parish Episcopal Church at the corner of Routes 2 & 4 in Sunderland, MD.

Calvert Counties 5 wineries will be present for patrons to taste their wines.

Artists specializing in pottery, jewelry, wood carving, sculpting, rug making, and many others will be present.

In addition to the wine and the arts there will be many other activities including musicians, dancers, and tours of the historic 1692 church.

The Calvert Wine & Arts Fest benefits the All Saints Parish's community projects.

THIRD ANNUAL CALVERT WINE & ARTS FEST

Calvert County artisans will be featured at the third annual Calvert Wine and Arts Fest, Saturday, May 8th, from 11 am to 6 pm, sponsored by All Saints Episcopal Church and the Southern Maryland Folk Arts Center. The fest will be on the Church grounds at the corner of Routes 2 and 4, Sunderland, MD. This juried show will feature some of the best artisans in Calvert, St. Mary's and Charles Counties, as well as other fine craftsmen.

Included will be Calvert County's five wineries: Cove Point, Solomons Island, Friday's Creek, Perigeaux and Running Hare. Guests wishing to taste the wines will receive a commemorative wine glass for just $12. Bottle sales also available.

Artisans will include those specializing in pottery, jewelry, fiber arts, painting on a variety of media, wood carving, sculpting, basketry, rug making and many others.

Musicians, dancers, children's activities, baked goods and other great food will add to the festivities. Tours will be available of this historic 1692 church and its labyrinth.

Proceeds will benefit All Saints Parish's community projects. Rain or shine.

Want a dog that is energetic and non-stop wiggles? She is a two year old American Pit Bull Terrier. Patsy was a stray in our local shelter. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots. Patsy is currently undergoing treatment for a skin related demodectic mange. This is not contagious and she will heal just fine. Patsy gets along with other dogs, no cat exposure yet. She walks well on a leash, knows sit, gives lots of kisses and will be a great family companion. She will need some additional basic obiendience training as Patsy just can't stop wiggiling. Patsy is fully grown at 35lbs. Pasty will require a fenced in yard and can not be adopted to those that rent. Patsy resides in a foster home.

Tank is a very affectionate dog. He wants only to be companionable, ambling along beside you wagging his tail. He likes other dogs (prefers females), and loves his people. He has quickly become the favorite of all of the kennel staff. He has been in a foster home, and is housetrained and does not have to be crated when left alone.
