Waverly Woods Village Center is the convenient resource location for Western Howard County residents in areas such as Woodstock, West Friendship and Marriottsville. Located a few miles outside of Ellicott City and quickly accessed from Interstate 70 off of Marriottsville Road, it provides a decent range of services, restaurants and general shopping.
Waverly Woods in the 21163 zip code, is a planned residential and private golf community that was just farmland 13 years ago. The growth of Howard County is no more obvious than the rapid development of this area. It now offers single family homes, upscale townhomes, condos and a complete 55+ community too. Many of the homes have the added pleasure of viewing the gorgeous world class architecturally designed gold course.....obviously for a premium price. Waverly Woods golf course enjoys 18 holes with a well stocked clubhouse.
Amenities of this shopping plaza include the Weis Food Market which is the anchor store of this location. There is a Celebree daycare location, a bank, martial arts studio, hairdresser, coffee shop, liquor store and a gas station to name but a few. Food options include a Subway Store, Sushi and Players Bar and Grill, which recently changed it's name from Mangias. It's a great location to watch sporting events and serves really cold beer.
At the front of the development on Marriottsville Road is the Silo Building, offering even more services.

The beautiful Historic Waverly Mansion almost looks out of place with so much new development. The original building was built in 1756. It is now a key location for elegant weddings in Howard County.
