For the month ending January 2008 the Harpswell Maine real estate markets saw no transactiong occur. Ouch!! This contrasts with 4 transactions at an average price of 747K in January 2008. Thus the mid coastal maine real estate market has perhaps one of the worst years in its history as Phippsburg and Georgetown Maine, the next 2 peninsulas up saw no transactions occur as well.

Harpswell Maine real estate had a slow December with 3 transactions taking place at an average sold price of 140K compared with 5 transactions a year. Pricing is very low for this waterfront real estate community given the lack of buyer interest in high end pricing. The current Harpswell residential inventory level is at 84 homes on the market.
