Yes, it's time for the Litchfield Fair! The 152nd annual Litchfield Fair! This very weekend, Sept 10 - 12!
There will be 4-H Hall Exhibits, an Apple Pie contest with judges from 92 Moose radio station, a Pig Scramble, Pulling Horses, Pulling Steers, Powder Puff Oxen Pull, and Antique Auto Parade, Old MacDonald's Barn and Petting Area, Exhibition Hall Exhibits, Maine Barrel Riding Association contest, Livestock contests, Draft Horse and Pony Show, AND SO MUCH MORE!
Friday night there is a Red Neck Truck Pull, followed by music from Bobby Reid and the Wild Horse Band. Saturday night there are FIREWORKS and music by Steve and the Good Ole Boys.
Yes, there is a midway!!! Friday night is Wrist Band Ride Day from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Exhibitions are open to the towns of Litchfield, West Gardiner, Gardiner, Richmond, Sabattus, Wales, Bowdoinham, Bowdoin, Monmouth, Winthrop, Manchester, Farmingdale, Randolph, Pittston, Dresden, Topsham, Lisbon, Lewiston, Greene, Leeds, Wayne, Woolwich, and Bath.
This is a true country fair and is great entertainment. So plan on heading out to Litchfield this weekend and spend some time at a country fair. Admission is free for under age 12, $2.00 for ages 12 - 17, $6.00 for adults, and $2.00 for over age 65.
You might even see some herbs. :D
