When you hit the trails to hike, take a stroll along the Maine sea coast or up Mt Katahdin, one of our many mountains, you see some famous people. Like President Obama and his family.

Many well known people vacation, retire, keep second homes in Maine. Why? To get away from the people. To be knee deep in rich scenery, wildlife and to enjoy clean air, no traffic, leaving city crime behind.

Maine vacations always something to look forward to but with your horse along for the ride so to speak?

Spring time in Maine...... 'gotta love it'!

Mud Season is fast approaching. I wonder where Bob put our LLBean Waders ??.

A local reminded me the other day that we usually have 2 seasons in Maine: Winter and Construction.
This year in Acadia National Park, we had 3 seasons: ..Summer season, Flu season and Mud season.
Most of us are now on the mend , and ready to put on our waders ...It's time for the tourists to arrive !
