My digital camera is nothing to brag about, and it is an older model, but the layout of the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary made it easy to get decent close up shots of many of the birds despite this. Professional photographers visit the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary often, through the various seasons, as a means of getting some great photographs of the birds. If you enjoy taking photos of wildlife, you certainly should plan a visit here.
Visitors will enjoy the gift shop that is at the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary as well. One can also buy by the pound coffee grown at the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary, as well as maple syrup produced at the nearby Kellogg Forest. Both are cared for and maintained by Michigan State University, and were original gifts to Michigan b
