Wing Lake waterfront homes, Bloomfield Hills Michigan

Russ Ravary - Metro Detroit homes - Michigan Real estate & Mortgage info: Real Estate Agent in Northville, MI

Wing Lake waterfront homes (Bloomfield Hills, Michigan) are what I would call more exclusive real estateif you are not from the area. Lakefront buyers buy for the city and the Bloomfield Hills School system. If you are from out of state, Bloomfield Hills is one of the more prestigious areas in Metro Detroit.

So home values are higher on Wing Lake and other West Bloomfield lakes, and Bloomfield Hills Lakes. There are larger homes in the neighborhoods and on the lake.

Wing Lake waterfront homes were built from the 1950's on.  All the small cottages are basically gone.  Now the smallest homes on the lake are brick ranches that start about 1600 square feet.  But there are many 3000, 4000, 5000, and even up to 7500 square foot colonials and contemporary Wing Lake home styles are cape cods, colonials, ranches and split level homes.

Most of the lake front homes have 3 to 6 bedrooms, 2 to 3 car garages, 2.5 + bathrooms.  Most are brick homes.  Some even have basements and walkout basements.

Most Wing Lake waterfront properties are level with the lake so no stairs are need to walk up and down to the lake.

I Love TIGER Baseball!

janeAnne Asheville Signature Finds in Mountain Homes and LAND: Real Estate Brokerage in Asheville, NC

“Go Get ‘Em Tigers”

Max Schwerzer DETROIT TIGERS Pitching Ace

I love baseball all the time,

but especially major league,

and when the hometown players
down at the Tiger’s stadium

are on a winning streak.

Bob Seeger’s in the crowd tonight
(his hair’s as lustrous as palladium)

reminding us that it’s been years and years
since we've seen the Tiger's
at their peak...
way back in ’68- ium!

My choice in Pitching?
Why it is Max Schwerzer,
with Valverde racking up the saves
(more than thirty-nine.
)

Batting? Now I’m thinking back to the '68 World Series

11 hits including 2 home runs, 8 RBIs,
and our hero

Al Kaline!

“Go Get “Em Tigers!” was the cry

and we’ll sing it once again,

here’s to Mom and Apple Pie
to Baseball, and it’s fans.

Build a better mouse trap

Virginia Tatseos : Home Stager in Bloomfield Township, MI

Working on a project now where there is evidence of mice.

We all know that mice like to come into houses just to keep warm or to to enjoy the AC. It really doesn't have a lot to do with cleanliness of the home owner. I has to do with having a door way in.

My brother has a cabin up North that's abandoned for several months at a time and the mice like to come in a visit He told me, years ago, to place a bucket of water in a room with a little bleach in it ad a little ramp to get into the water but they can't get out. Apparently the mice can't swim for a long time and they drown and the bleach will keep down the odors.

While working on this project I thought that I would give the bucket a little try. Within hours of the basement being left alone poof we had one little culprit.

My wonderfully talented handyman, after finding the doorway for the mice, built this ramp. They can now walk the ramp down to the bucket without falling.

Now we will set out to fix the doorway and find others.

Enjoy your laugh.
