Ellie’s Chocolate Cafe makes up more than just chocolate and candy confections. They have been very busy lately cooking up a new Business Plan. The Cafe just recently expanded their business. Under the co-ownership of Mike Radant, Steve Radant, Judy Radant and Judy Bottum the group took their existing Ellie's Restaurant, acquired The Gourmet Chocolate Cafe, and re-named their new business Ellie's Chocolate Cafe.
Ellie's Chocolate Cafe offers their guests great tasting traditions such as: made-to-order burgers; grinders; and wraps. Homemade recipes are used to make their comforting soups. Great tasting salads such as Greek, club and garden will compliment your order. They make fresh-baked pastries every morning - Yum!
Eat-in or Take-Out. They prepare dinner specials such as Spaghetti, Bar-B-Q Ribs, and Beef Tri-tip Sandwiches just to name a few. Always leave room for dessert - an ice cream sundae or any number of delectable gourmet chocolates will sweet'n up your day. Mine is the caramel cashew turtle.
Let’s not stop there! Need to get a special gift for someone? Just give them a quick call and make your candy gift box order right over the phone or while enjoying your meal at Ellie’s. They will ship your confectioneries right from Ellie's Chocolate Cafe! There is a United States Post Office located in the rear of Ellie’s. This post office is open for the public. Now that is service.
Elli’s Chocolate Cafe is such a great place to stop. Take time to notice the artwork on the walls by local artisans while you sip a cup of locally roasted Roos Roast coffee. The chocolate assortments are fantastic, fresh baked pastries are mouthwatering, and a great place to enjoy an ice cream. Oh and by the way - Who says you can’t eat chocolate for breakfast.

Located just outside of Ann Arbor, to the west along I-94, Chelsea, Michigan is a great choice that many people make. They want the convenience of city living but with a small town environment.
Chelsea is proud to have a long and exciting history, which is promoted by the Chelsea Area Historical Society. This great organization researches the history of Chelsea and the surrounding townships of Sylvan, Lima, Lyndon, and Sharon. They are a great education resource for kids and adults who are interested in local history!
The organization is very welcoming and have many different activities available for those who are interested in learning more about the area.
How about the Oak Grove Walking Tour, which is a guided talking tour of the Oak Grove Cemetery? This took place earlier this month and asides from being spooky in the run up to Halloween it is an informative tour.
Or you could look at the Chelsea Area Historical Society Museum which opened back in February 2011. The museum is open Saturdays from 11am – 3:00pm, at 20650 W. Old US-12, the house next to Thompson’s Pizzeria. It is a chance to stop in and experience the history of Chelsea. Current exhibits include a limited time only display of Glazier Stove Co. stoves, artifacts from Chelsea Fairs of the past, rare photos, and patents along with Chelsea advertising, pioneer history, exquisite china, and much more! Admission is a suggested donation. The museum is also going all out for the holidays this year as it will be decorated for the holiday season and, in the spirit of the Christmas season, is showcasing a vintage toy exhibit on December 3rd!
