Huron Farms in Dexter Michigan is a fantastic family friendly community.

Huron Farms is located in Dexter Michigan and is comprised of excellent single family homes. Sales prices start at $145,000 to $400,000. Development started for the community back in 1998 by Norfolk Homes. The community is located in the Village of Dexter and is a short walk to downtown Dexter, with restaurants, Encore Theatre, shopping and schools. Dexter's Mill Creek Middle School is across the street.

Dexter Real Estate Results Unveiled for 2009

Dexter residential supply is now about 9 months. It would take about 9 months for all the homes to sell if no other homes came on the market. Anything over 7 months supply is a buyers market.

The Supply and Demand (#Units FS, S0ld) chart shows December 2008 compared to December 2009, the number of homes listed for sale are up 7 percent and the number of units sold are up 16 percent. The annual trend lines show the number of homes offered for sale increased and number of Dexter sales remained pretty flat.

Below, Median Price (FS, Sold) December 08′ vs. December 09′, the sellers asking list prices were up 10 percent and median sold prices increased by 14 percent. The annual trend lines indicates a slight upward motion in median sales prices and asking prices overall.

Photos show a smatter of Dexter ice carvings sponsored by local businesses. Free and open to the public, the ice show with Santa visit is on today. Tempuratures are currently 29 degeress, so we will see how long the sculptures last. Kettlecorn and Foggy Bottom coffee is available for purchase.
