Quakertown is right on the Northville Michigan border pretty much as far west in Livonia as you can go. There are approximately 296 homes in the sub which were built in the 1970's&1980's. From the moment you enter the area you will notice well kept homes that show tremendous pride Quakertown residents have in their community. The school district for this area is Livonia Public Schools with Livonia Stevenson as the high school. Quakertown is located at 6 Mile and Haggerty Rd on the far west side of Livonia. From Six Mile and Quakertown street you have just about every convenience you could think of. You are about 1 minute from I275/I96 expressway and can be in Downtown Detroit within 20-23 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants, specialty stores, coffee shops, health-care offices, parks, exercise facilities all within just a few minute drive of Quakertown. In the following pictures we have some local area attractions. First we start with Laurel Park Place Mall which is about a 1-2 minute drive from Quakertown. Laurel Park offers good shopping, food court and movie theaters. Next we have the Livonia Michigan Recreation Centers which is about 5-10 minutes away. The Livonia Rec offers two swimming pools, rock climbing wall, exercise equipment, sauna, hot tub, two basketball courts and much much more.
