I was over in Monroe, Michigan about a month ago visiting some friends and I looked across a parking lot and saw this sunset. I snapped a photo with my HTC EVO, and forgot about it. I came across it the other day, and thought this was just too beautiful to not share on my blog. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

A day on the farm.
I have always lived in the city. My first home had a lot size of 100' x 300' and I felt comfy. Then when I moved into my next home and the lot size was 55' X 110', I almost went into a panic mode. I could practically fit six of these lots into my old lot. I thought that the neighbors were too close. I even considered erecting six foot picket fencing all around but then I realized I would be shutting myself in and didn't want that either. After some years I learned to adjust.
My oldest son just lives twenty minutes away from me in Monroe, MI. I can drive down to his house and feel like I've driven WAY OUT into the country. His home sits on 2 1/2 acres. We refer to visiting him as "going to the farm".
He loves his animals. He has goats, rabbits, chickens. guinea and doves. He also has several bird feeders out to attract a variety of wild birds.
With plenty of room to play, he has some toys to keep the kids occupied. They have the usual swing set/play structure. He also has a bounce house, golf cart, mini bike, go cart, and a couple of four wheelers. The kids have a ball playing OUTSIDE all day.
Here's the chicken coop with some of the goats, chickens and guinea.

The kids get a kick out of holding the baby bunnies, jumping in the bounce house and swinging away on the play structure.

Everyone gets a turn riding in the golf cart, on the four wheeler and the mini bike.

It's relaxing to go down to the farm in Monroe, MI. for a day and get away from the city.
I look forward to our visits there.

I am thrilled to recommend Marygrace Liparato, ReMax Realtor to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a home. I cannot say enough about the service that we received during an incredibly tough seller's market in 2009.
I believe Marygrace's strength lies in her passion and commitment to her career as a real estate professional. She constantly remains abreast of changes in the real estate market, the economy and legislation that will impact her clients and give them every advantage for their situation. She provided information for us that went above and beyond the sale of our home that will impact our future home purchase, financing options, etc. Her enthusiasm for her job is also clear by the extent to which she takes advantage of all resources and tools to communicate and advertise the property. She commits a huge amount time to networking and developing relationships that will connect her customers with buyers and sellers. Her commitment to her field is also demonstrated in the integrity that she brings to her work. Marygrace cares about her reputation and goes above and beyond to work for the referrals that make a successful long term career in real estate.
Lastly, Marygrace's broad knowledge of the market and her experience in tough markets makes her an excellent negotiator. In the end, she sold our home for more than the bank appraisal. Considering the strong buyers market in Monroe, Michigan in 2009, this was an exceptional outcome for us.
All in all, Marygrace's work on our behalf was not only very intelligent and informed, but also committed and ethical.

I just rediscovered the very funny Terry Tate: Office Linebacker videos, which were a series of short television commercials from a few years ago. If you’ve ever worked in an office environment, and I know that many of you have, then you’ll really appreciate how Terry Tate enforces office policies and rules. I wish that Terry had worked in my office to help with all of the people who just can't seem to follow common office courtesy. Every office needs a Terry Tate!
I’m thinking of posting more of these great videos if people seem to enjoy them as much as I do. There are other videos entitled "Vacation," "Sensitivity Training," "Draft Day," "Office Athlete of the Century," "Streaker" and "Late Lunch," each of which is really funny. I'm only posting one right now, so I hope you enjoy it.
