Morley, MI

This coming weekend is another "must do" if in the Morley Area. The dates are Friday, Aug 6, 2010 - Sunday, Aug 8, 2010 for the Morley Celebration on the Pond for 2010. Located in downtown Morley with tractor pulls, an antique car show, street dance and much more. The tractor pulls have several classes incuding farm tractors, light trucks and even semi tractors. There will also be Food Venders, Portable Toilets and Bleachers available. See you there.

Directions to the event are: 131 Expressway to exit 125 Jefferson Rd/Morley, East on Jefferson to Northland Dr, Left on Northland Dr and follow signs.

Another in our list of "To Do's" is attending the Morley Free Fest. This event has it all. With a pizza pie throwing contest, For the kid's there's a free bounce-land with inflatable's. For the adults there's a karaoke contest and street dance with Laverne and Swanny DJing from 2pm till 10pm, All day long town wide yard sale, flea market, BINGO and a Beer Tent from Noon till 10pm! This year the Morley Free Fest will be on July 10,2010 and sounds lie the place to be.

They have an awesome motorcycle show that draws bikes from all over the State. They have 11 classes of bikes that will be judged this year including Manufactured Custom, American Touring, Street Stock, Metric Touring, Metric Street, Vintage (1975 and older), Classic Custom (1976 and newer), Sportster, Three Wheel (Trikes and Sidecards), People's Choice ($1 to vote) and even Kids Class (Anything on Wheels). Entry fee is only $10 per entry per class and registration is from 12pm to 2pm with judging from 2pm to 4pm and Awards issued at 5pm.
