Metro Detroit Victorian homes Michigan
A few months back I wrote about Wayne County Victorian Homes and today I got a email from a lady requesting listings for Metro Detroit Victorian homes built before 1900. We are going out Thursday to see different Victorian Homes for sale.

So I urge all of you to write about your local area. Even use the styles of homes to help enhance your position. I have written about Oakland County Victorian Homes and Livingston County Victorian homes on outside blogs. I have ranked no#1 on Google for Wayne County and Livingston County. I write extensively about Oakland County lake homes and Oakland County Lakefront properties. Sometimes it is hard to crack #1 spot on google for your local area. I have a hard time being number one for Livonia real estate because I am fighting the big sites like yahoo real estate or homesdotsom.
I believe is the key is all this madness about google is to be found in as many spots as possible. With the keys to drive traffic to your website and to have potential clients call you.
Good luck on moving up in Google.

I have been taking a young couple out looking at houses in Northville for a couple of weeks. We were putting offers in but we lost a couple of them because there were multiple bids. There seemed to be quite a bit of action on Northville foreclosures and Canton foreclosures lately. But we finally won one.
That's when the problems started. We got the water turned back on only to find out that the home had not been winterized correctly. There were all sorts of leaks in the plumbing system because the pipes froze.

So I called the listing agent and sent over an addendum requesting the pipes be fixed before we do the inspection. You can't get a FHA loanif the water isn't turned on. Well it seems there was a little mix up between the asset manager and the listing agent on when the winterization was supposed to take place. So nobody was doing anything with the addendum and we couldn't move forward with the inspection.
So for ten days we went back and forth on what was happening. The agent didn't want to ask for the authorization to spend the money because of the issue of who was at fault for the problem. Well finally I asked her if she would like to use my inexpensive plumber to fix the problem. Instead of the high priced plumber she finally agreed to pay my plumber to get the house fixed.
So finally we are moving forward on the home purchase. Problem solved by simply providing a reasonable Northville plumber.

The following is a monthly market analysis for Northville & Northville Twp., Michigan. It compares only residential homes sold in Feb. 2009 with Jan. 2009 to determine the # of homes sold for the month and the increase/decrease in average sold price. It also distinguishes how many homes were recorded to be Bank Owned/HUD. as opposed to private owned. First figures include all homes--private, bank owned and short sales. In the latter part of 2008, Realtors were required to categorize ownership status so figures were not accurate and not calculated for bank owned Feb. 2008 or YTD. To insure that most leases were not included in data, minimum sale price used was $12,000.
