Here is a quick Oakland County home selling tip..... put your hunting trophies away!
I know you are proud of your animals trophies but there are people that are anti hunting. There are people who love animals. There are people who are disgusted by taking fur and killing animals. I remember one lady who worked for us. She would tell me how her dogs kept her up all night barking. Or how they ruined her furniture. Or that they drooled all over the windows. But she loved those animals and treated them better than her husband and kids. She would special cook meals for the dogs. There are people that are totally into animals.
It doesn't matter if it is a trophy 12 point buck, a grizzly from Alaska, or a zebra from Africa. Box those trophies up and don't have them out. I have had women walk out of the house and refuse to even look at the house. This house these pictures came from caused my buyers to leave the house in under three minutes.
This was the final straw for my Oakland County first time home buyers. The picture below got a big ewwwwwww out of my home buyer and she didn't want to see anymore of this house either.
So be smart and make your house appeal to the greatest number of buyers possible and put away the dead animals. I hope those Oakland County home selling tips help you get your home sold quicker.
