I was talking with an Attorney for one of my past clients. It was related to the property I had represented him on that he enlisted my help for. Don't worry, I am fine, but I think this Atty. is taking this guy for a ride. Brought this story to mind...

An attorney married a lady who had been divorced 10 times. "Please be gentle with me, I 'm still a Virgin."

"How can that be, you have been married 10 times." replied the new husband.

Well, husband 1 was a Sales Representative. he kept telling me how great it was going to be.

Husband 2, he was in soft wear services. He said he didn't really know how it worked, but he would check and get back to me.

Husband 3, was in field orders. He said everything checked out diagnostically, but he just couldn't get the system up.

Number 4 was a telemarketer. Even tho he knew he had the order, he didn't know when he could deliver.

Husband 5, was an engineer. He understood the basics, but wanted 3 years to research, design and implement a new state of the art method.

6 was from finance administration. He thought he knew how, but he didn't know if it was his job or not.

Husband 7 was in marketing, he had a good product but never knew how to position it right.

husband 8 was a psychologist. All he ever did was talk about it.

9 was a gynocologist. All he did was look at it.

And husband 10 was a stamp collector. All he ever did was...OH GOD, I miss him.

But not I am really excited.

"Good, but why." asked the new husband.

"Because your an Attorney, so now I know I gonna get screwed!"

We decided to head to the cabin and do a bit of fishing on the hard water. We just needed to get away. Things have been a bit nuts around our place with the holidays and all. (8 get togethers at our place for the holidays).

So, we get to the cabin and found that the guy we contracted to plow the driveway, DIDN'T. We found someone close by, paid a premium on New Years Day. Opened the Cabin and found no heat. The gas man didn't fill the tank because the drive way wasn't plowed. Paid extra to have them deliver on a holiday with short notice. Also noticed a stench in the cabin. Refridgerator went out, and all the food is rotting! Need to call extended warrenty company for our 1 1/2 year new fridge.

Finally today we hit the ice for some quiet time. The fishing was great...the biting was very slow. 1 small northern which we let live. But, this wasn't about catching fish, it was about hiding out with my loving wife and spending some uninterrupted time together, except for the visit from the local game warden!

Wow..that was a trip. 260 miles one way, no over night stay. To many commitments for today.

I must appoligize for no pictures. My camera card has become corrupted and I lost 2 weeks worth of memories.
