I am signing up for a Webinar sponsored by the National Association of REALTORS and am thinking how sad it is that we need to even consider these issues. Although I have not had any trouble or even felt uncomfortable at a showing or an open house, I know others who have. I have also heard of robberies, rapes and murders of agents. I am not naive enought to consider that this could not happen in my area. It Could! I am going to do what I can to prevent it from happening to me. To sign up for the free Webinar go to NAR and sign in.
Attend the Free REALTOR® Safety Webinar from NAR: Safety at Open Houses
Your safety is a top priority for NAR and as part of a year-long initiative to help build safety awareness, NAR will host REALTOR® Safety Webinars each quarter led by safety expert Andrew Wooten. The first in the series, Safety at Open Houses, is scheduled for Monday, September 14, 2009 at 10am Central. Advanced registration is recommended.

Emily will be performing her talent and showing off her Miss Minnesota pageant wardrobe tonight June 11th. 2009. This will be held in the cafeteria on the South Campus of the Brainerd, Minnesota High School at 6 PM.. Also performing their Talent pieces will be two of our area's Minnesota's Outstanding Teen Contestants. They are Bailey Wachholtz and Emma Hilgart. Everyone is invited to come and ask these young women some tough questions about life, about their platforms, about anything. They will all soon be standing before a panel of judges doing the same thing and the more experience they get - the better.
We wish them well in their endeavors and want to give them a great send off into this adventure. It will be stressful, it will be fun, it will be challenging.

Paul Bunyan is part of the new 2008 Holiday Village located in the Westgate Mall Brainerd/Baxter Minnesota. Paul the Doll and his big wooden chair were found on E-Bay and were created by Designer & Fabric Artist Marilyn Lee and Craftsmen Kenny Kraeplin. His creators donated him to the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association.
This Paul is not small and it took 3 people to move him to the Holiday Village. He rode there in the Shores & More Realty van.
Paul will be promoting the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway , which is a 54 mile long Nationally designated driving route, which goes through Crow Wing and Cass counties.
The Holiday Village is open now and will stay open until Christmas Eve. Come talk to Paul , see some holiday performances and check out the beautifully decorated stores,
