I see the blogs for staging a home. But, seldom do I see the staging follow through to the garage or the outbuildings.
In some ways, they are just as important and sometimes even more so for some people.
I will agree, that is the wife doesn't care for the house the deal is off! But, you may be dealing with a single guy and he could care less about the souse...he wants to see the garage and outbuildings.
If these are not orderly it can also turn that guy away.
Some people will also spend all their time on the yard. Inside the home may be a cluttered mess, but the yard is pristine.
Staging is a delicate balance. We just need to remember to do it all.

I have been having some problems getting ll my outdoor work done as of late. it is 7:33 pm and I almost need a flashlight to walk outside.
End of June we are still working outside until 10 pm and later. Now, I am rushing to get the basics done before I can't see my hand in front of my face.
Now, I suppose this isn't all that bad. I do get a chance to sit and relax for a spell before getting horizontal for 6 hours.
I need to make sure I have enough reading material because the BOOB TUBE has not improved much.

If you're fortunate enough to be looking for a home in Center City, MN, you have many advantages on your side: housing prices are low, mortgage rates are at record lows, and inventory is high. But does that mean that you will automatically get a home for a good price? This article gives good tips on how to evaluate the investment value of any house:
Research Recently Sold, Comparable Properties
Your real estate agent is your best ally in helping you determine whether any given house is priced to high or suspiciously too low.
Check Out Comparable Properties Currently on the Market
If you find the house of your dreams in Center City, you should still take time to look at other properties like it to get a good feel for whether you might be paying higher than market prices.
Look at Comps that Were Recently on the Market But Didn't Sell
This information is as valuable as the prices of comparable homes that did sell. If many homes are listed at $400,000, you might believe that the house you like is indeed worth $400,000. But if only two of them sell, they're all likely overpriced. Find out how many homes like the one you're looking at in the area are being taken off the market due to not selling.
Consider Market Conditions and Appreciation Rates in the Area
It's clear that right now is a buyer's market, but conditions may vary city to city and even neighborhood to neighborhood. Track whether actual sale prices have been going up or down in the area where you're looking.
Are you Looking at a FSBO Property?
You should expect the price on a for-sale-by-owner property to be a bit lower than average, but there's also the distinct possibility that the owner has overpriced his/her property relative to actual market value. Trust your realtor to help you determine whether the comps you're looking at are truly "comps".
What is the Expected Appreciation for the area?
It's hard to say exactly when the market will begin to improve, but nearly all analysts believe it will. Some areas of Center City will improve at a faster rate than others for market value, so consider future appreciation rates when considering the investment in a home.
What is your real estate agent's opinion?
As previously stated, your agent will have loads of experience with analyzing comps - past, present and future. If they feel that the price is fair for the market, it probably is.
Does the Price Feel Fair to You?
You have to live in the home and be happy with what you paid. You don't want to miss out on a good opportunity, but you also don't want to live with regret. Be sure that the price is right for you, not just for the property.
Test the Waters
A seller may have listed at the lowest possible price to which they will go...or not. Most sales involve some negotiation.
Get an Appraised Value and a Home Inspection
Lenders are careful these days to not loan more than the actual value of the home. And a home inspection will give you a good feel for whether there are many repairs that need to be made to the house, all of which can be used to negotiate the price.
Knowing how homes are priced can help you determine whether you're getting a good price on the Center City, MN home that you love!

Regardless of which source you read, the news for those selling homes in Center City, Minnesota is not encouraging. Overall prices are down, foreclosures for sale still compete with standard sales in drawing buyers, and there is no immediate market improvement on the horizon.
Savvy sellers must pay attention to the things that buyers in this market care most about. Jake Duffy shares some good insights here regarding what buyers are demanding in today’s market:
Compact but Cool
The depressed economy has changed the priorities of many buyers; for energy and maintenance reasons, far more are looking for smaller homes rather than the sprawling mansion they may have chosen ten years ago. But, according to Mr. Duffy,
”they want [them] in pristine condition. These buyers aren’t interested in fixer-uppers. They want well-maintained smaller properties, to avoid potential big ticket expenses in the future. Smaller properties also require less heating and cooling, and their smaller yards require less maintenance. These are all factors today’s buyers are weighing as they shop for a home."
Great Prices
No surprise here – buyers are demanding the best prices they can get, and they hold the better bargaining chips.
Entertainment Value
Now more than ever, buyers want their home to be their castle. It’s no coincidence that the term “staycation” was coined in the last ten years; more and more vacationers are staying home and taking their vacations in their local surroundings. Because they’re foregoing expensive trips to exotic locales, they want their homes and yards to provide them with maximum comfort and entertainment value. Nice patios and places for outdoor entertaining are higher on the list for many potential buyers, and can be difference makers in them choosing your Center City home over your neighbors’.
In the past, installing upgrades like granite counters maybe have been considered a nice but unnecessary touch. Today it might seem like an impractical expense. But very often it is these touches that will draw the eye of a buyer and make them consider whether your home might be their next castle.
Your Center City, MN home need not be a Better Homes and Gardens showcase to sell. But a few well-placed improvements will position it strongly in the market against the competition. A good real estate agent will help you choose which ones can best serve you and the sale of your home.

Ever have one of those days where you are just a minute late and a dollar short all day long. Well it con't be as bad as this poor fellow.
It appeared that a young teen had overturned a wagon load of corn. Hearing the noise the neighbor came over and said...Willis, forget your troubles and come with me.
"No, I better not, Pa wouldn't like it."
"Don't worry Willis, I will come back and help you set up the wagon and reload the corn."
So off to the neighbors home Willis went. He was given a nice meal and then said, "I better get badck to the wagon before Pa finds out I am gone, thanks for the dinner."
"I will go with and help like I said, by the way, where is your Pa anyway?"
Willis replied..."He's under the wagon!"
