The real estate market really made a positive turn in Chisago, MN in 2011. Sales nearly doubled, up 69%; from 58 homes sold in 2010 to 98 sold in 2011. It was not at the expense of other stats either. The average sales price was almost dead even with the average in 2010 at just over $174,000. New listings were down nearly 7% so the market is more balanced than it has been for awhile in this northeast metro community just outside of Forest Lake. Sellers are receiving only slightly more than they did in 2010 with as the accepted sales price ratio compared to list price ratio is down just a bit. Market time also dropped significantly for the second year in a row. It now takes an average of 186 Days on Market or approximately 6 months which is similar to other north metro suburbs. The price per square foot in Chisago did slide a bit from $94/sq ft in 2010 to $90/sq ft which is comparable to other northeast metro suburbs. Buying a home in Chisago appears to be an affordable option into 2012.

Yes I do! The brightly colored and white lights that twinkle around every corner.
But the one thing they also remind me of is...
POLITICIANS !!!
They all hang together.
Half the suckers don't work, and
The ones that do are not that bright!
I know, I know...I take the fun out of everything!

Just when did technology actually start. Who determined that this was the age of technology. Well, it may have been much earlier than you thought...
After having dug to a depth of 10 feet, New York scientists discovered copper wire dating back 100 years. They then came to the conclusion that their ancestors already had a telephone network 100 years ago.
Not to be out done by the New york Scientists, Archaeologists in California dug down 20 feet and in the following weeks reported they had found traces of copper wire dating back 200 years. The conclusion was that their ancestors already had high tech telecommunications a full 100 years before the New Yorkers did.
A few weeks later, the St. Paul Pioneer Press, a local newspaper in Minnesota, reported the following:
After digging as deep as 30 feet in his pasture in Embarass, Minnesota, Ole Olson, A self taught Archaeologist, reported that he had found absolutely NOTHING!
Ole came to the conclusion that Minnesota had already gone 'Wireless' 300 years ago!
Thank heavens for Ole!!!! Who said Minnesotans were just a bunch of Hicks?!
