Today was an absolutely stunning day to go to the lake. While many people headed up north to the lake place, heading back with hwy 10 under construction, basically a large log jam, just didn't seem like the appropriate thing to do when we have a very wonderful public lake within 10 minutes of the house. With over 300 feet of sandy bottom swimming beach Warner Lake is a nice place to go to enjoy the day. The park has 7 picnic areas with tables and grills. If you are having a larger function out at the park there are 2 covered picnic shelters, these are available on a first come basis. In addition there is one very large covered shelter complete with an enclosed kitchen area with electricity, seating for 100 comfortably and a large grilling area, this 
Warner Lake County Park is also home to Warner Lake Nature Center. The Nature Center is a full enclosed building that is also perfect for gatherings and will accommodate up to 120 guests. there are 20 six foot tables and chairs, a full kitchen and a separate parking area. There is a discount on the rental fee for non-profit organizations.
