Need to give my hometown some love! This weekend is the big Browerville Days. Browerville is a small town of under 1000 people but when I comes to this annual event it blows up. People flock from miles around to have a great time!

I will be out at the street dance on Saturday Night (Signing Autographs...just kidding). Most of the rest of the time you will find me at the softball fields playing on the long shot teams to win a game in either of the tournaments.

This years Browerville Alumni Basketball Tournament was the first time I played basketball since the tournament in '08.

We ended up play 3 games and taking second place. I am extremely sore after playing three games in one day. I was definitely not in basketball shape and it showed.

The first game I felt good and had a good game. I did not real keep stats but I had probably around 17 points and close to 15 rebounds. The second game they just asked me to contain the other teams big guy so thats what I did and I only had 1 point in the game two win.

The third game was the championship game and our team was "the old guy team" and we played a group of younger guys who were really good 2 years ago. So our team was running on fumes and the other team left us in the dust. I think we lost by 35 points.

I wonder how many days I will be sore for...

I have not played basketball since last years tournament, but tomorrow I am going to dust of the rust and play some BASKETBALL.

My small hometown of Browerville, MN is having its about 7 annual Alumni Tournament. This is the 5th one I will be playing in. The challenge is I have not played since last year. That would mean I am going to do a lot of rebounding and setting screens.

I have kept myself in shape by going to the gym, but getting out there and playing is a whole lot different. Of course I am one of the older guys to show up so most of the teams are comprised of guys in their 20's. I'm a '95 grad so its not like I am overly old but time does fly...14 years ago I graduated high school.

So lets see if I survive the weekend!!!
