After a pretty good week, I felt like good things were ready to happen for the weekend.

Things happened, but not of the good variety. If I was involved in it it went south. Both in Real Estate and in my personal life.

I finally stepped back, took a deep breath and looked to a higher power for advice and direction.

I have not heard back yet...but I will keep waiting.

It has been a grueling day. Long boring story that means nothing to anyone but me, so I won't bore you. But I needed a lift and one was provided. I hope you get a smile for this evening.

A few puns.

I wondered why the baseball was getting bigger. Then, it hit me!

Police were called to a daycare where a toddler was...Resisting a rest!

Did you hear about the guy who's left side was cut off? He's all right now!

The roundest knight at King Arthur's round table was...Sir Cumference.

To write with a broken pencil is, Pointless!

OK, OK, moan and groan...but don't forget there was a bit a of a smile starting!

There is always someone that has a quick wit. Be it in general conversation or business. When a problem comes up...are you able to answer it without hee hawing around. Do you look professional when the question totally stumps you, or can you roll off an answer right off your tounge.

If you are having problems like these and find yourself going ummm, well ummm. I did in my younger days, and I had a teacher give me a piece of advice. Before answering any question, give yourself 2-3 seconds of time. That way when you are stumped, acouple more seconds won't seam so long to the person you are toalking to.

And don't forget that I DON'T KNOW, BUT I WILL FIND OUT, can be a very acceptable answer.

DID YOU SEE THAT!?

A man rushed into a bar and ordered a double martini. The man downed it with one swallow, put a five dollar bill on the bar and rushed out again.

The bartender picked up the bill, folded it carefully and tucked it in his vest pocket. Just at that moment he looked up at his boss standing in the doorway staring at him.

Doing a bit of fast thinking he said..."Hi boss, did you see that fellow just know? Came in here, bought a double martini, gave me a five dollar tip, and rushed out without paying."

THAT'S THINKING ON YOUR FEET!!!

An older genteleman was rushed to the hospital emerbency room for an operation. When he came out of the aneththesia, after the procedure, he said, "why are all of the shades on the windows pulled?" "The house across the street is on fire", the nurse explained, "and we didn't want you to wake up thinking that the operation was a failure."
