This is why everyone that visits Branson wants to buy a lake home on Tablerock Lake- For these reasons; it’s clean, beautiful, and surprisingly quiet! With 52,000 acres of shoreline and being a protected corp lake it is truly an emerald jewel in the mid-west! Accessible from multiple public and privately owned locations just minutes to the west of Branson,MO Table Rock Lake has been delighting visitors and residents since it was formed by the damming of the White River in 1958. While visitors can find dozens of places to stay and play along the banks of Table Rock Lake, the area’s real estate developments have placed a high priority on preserving the scenic beauty of the natural shoreline, bluffs, forests and wildlife that inhabit the shoreline. Unlike its counterpart Lake of the Ozarks, Table Rock Lake retains its natural beauty and is much more enjoyable for fishing and family outings. Being a corp lake also protects the people who invest in lake homes in the Branson area.

The Ozarks have never been a place for the faint of heart. With our rugged rocky landscape and endless hills (mountains) the Ozarks are a place of endless beauty, but can also cause car sickness. With most of our clients coming from areas like Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa, where most roads are a strait shot. When coming to this area, some get disorented or the curvy switchback roads can be daunting! I wanted to write this post because I've noticed most buyers can not tell the distance from parts of Table Rock Lake to Branson until they take the drive. Some of the lake homes are very far and most of the time I will tell buyers this house is 30 min. from Branson, or 50 min. on two lane curves. Really it depends on the buyers lifestyle. If they are wanting a lake home far enough from everything to enjoy total peace and quiet then maybe that does not matter. But, if they are going to live here full time, hold a job, and take kids to school then the real estate they buy takes on a different priority. Table Rock Lake has 800 miles of shoreline, but it is full of interesting jagged points which adds to it's beauty. When looking for lake property keep in mind it might take you a while to get down that jagged point, but it may be worth your while to hold on to your hat, because there's lots of great places with gorgeous views on this this lake. If your looking for lake homes or parcels of land please give me a call I'm local and know the area!...Carrie
