According to our local MLS' latest information, Branson single family homes sales last month were down 6 to only 16 total built on site homes sold. The highest priced one sold for $314,000 and the lowest priced one sold for $90,000. The median price for these homes was approximately $160,000 again, a good sign because the medium price is unchanged.

Condo sales were down only 1 with 11 units sold last month. The highest one sold for approx. $225,000 and the lowest sold for $35,000. That shows a stable median sales price in that local market too. The number of condos sold is down slightly but prices are showing a steady return toward a normal market.
Market information for land, farms, commercial, mobile-home sales and other local information is available by request. Real estate market conditions are always local and there is no problem getting financing for good buyers and a fair price for good property. Naturally, whether you should buy or sell depends upon your particular circumstances more than any other factor.
If you would like to go over your situation and get an honest evaluation of whether you are in the right "timing" or not, I will be glad to help. One of the best things about Branson, (heart of America to me) Missouri is their honoring of American Veterans. People who have risked life, limb, career, and more to protect and serve the home of the free, are our heros!
Welcome to "Veterans Homecoming Week" November 5-11, 2009

This year we will be honoring our Veterans with a week of special events you will find at the above website. Registration will be at one central location this year to make it easier to find and get all the info you need:
Headquarters & Veterans Village will be located at the Cobblestone Inn, Suites & Conference Center, 276 Tanger Blvd., behind the Peppercorn Restaurant on Hwy 76, Branson, MO. Vendor booths will be open from 9:00a.m. (0900 hrs) to 4:00p.m.(1600hrs).
Because I am a Vietnam Veteran I know how important this is to those who have given so much and gotten so little thanks from those whom they have served. Make sure you thanks to a vet this year, I will too.

My family owns 90 Acres just north of Branson Mo, and a couple years ago I had my neighbors parcel of 100 acres up for sale. The only real interest I had was when another agent had shown it to some interesting people from the St Louis area. After the showing they informed me they were interested in putting in a "Tiger Sanctuary".
With no real understanding of what they were wanting to accomplish, and having a 5 year old at the time, fear and panic ran through my mind of having hundreds of tigers in my back yard. Not being the right piece of land for them; lucky for me "I thought" they moved on. Two years later, the announcement was made that the new animal sanctuary will be located in Rockaway Beach, MO, about 15 minutes north east of Branson, MO.
It should be an amazing boost for Rockaway creating a tourist attraction for 90,000 annually. The company is called Global Resources for Environmental Education and Nature or (GREEN). The 20 Acre Park will educate about people about this endangered species and the importance of protecting the environment. Now understanding what the tiger sanctuary is all about, I wish them the best and look forward to seeing Rockaway Beach have a boost in it's own economy.
