About Webster County, MO

So I found an amazing Farmer's market deal this week. Instead of GOING to the farmers market, I went to where the farmers buy! About 45 minutes from my home I discovered an Amish Auction for produce and baked goods!

I got boxes of potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, onions and flats of blackberries! Headed back next week to pickle me some cukes! All this at about 1/3 of what you would pay at a farmers market but the catch is you buy in bulk!

So here I spend on this 95 degree day, canning all the harvest into jars of tomatoes and blackberry jelly. I love it! So satisfying and what a deal!!

Still got more jars a cookin away!
