Summer in St. Charles brings a lot of fun things to do and one of those fun things is:

Music on Main: the third Wed. of the month from 5pm to 7:30pm  the fun will include free concerts in the Downtown Historic District in the 100 & 200 blocks of N. Main St. in St. Charles  Bring your lawn chairs!  On September 17^th The Arbogast Band will be playing

Bring the Kids every Friday, Saturday and Sunday to the St. Charles Model Railroad Club Display. Where there will be an 800 sq. ft. operating train display.  The FREE display hours are Fri. 7pm - 9pm; Sat & Sun 1pm - 6pm at Ft. Zumwalt Park in O Fallon.

Community Prayer Breakfast on September 13^th starting at 9am.  This is a thank you to the community from Our Lady's Inn.  The event will be held at the Columns Banquet Center in St Charles and the cost will $20 per person.  The guest speaker is Kim Manoogian.  Reservations can be made by calling 314-351-4590 or online at www.ourladysin.cor. Our Lady's Inn is an emergency shelter for pregnant women and their children.

On September 18^th starting at 6pm there will be a Charity Fashion Show and Wine Tasting that will benefit Connections to Success and Our Lady's Inn.  This event will be held in New Town at 3420 Civic Circle.  The cost is $35 per person and includes wine tasting, appetizers and a mini silent auction.  Call 636-916-4386 or visit www.streetscapemag.com for more information.

On September 19^th, 20^th &21^st Big River Days comes to Clarksville, MO.  Ok so this isn't in St Charles County but it is close enough!  The river has receeded and they are ready for some fun and the whole family is invited.  There will be re-enactors, antiques, music, artisans, kids' entertainment, live demonstrations, food, drinks and loads more.  This event is sponsored by the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce and Raintree Arts Council.  For more information call 636-288-8187.

Then for the kids on September 6^th the O Fallon Family YMCA will hold the 14^th Annual Kids TRYathlon.  All kids ages 7 - 13 are invited to participate.  You may Regis at the YMCA.  Call Kathleen Johnson at 636-379-0092 for more information.

Mark your calendars and come out and enjoy what O Fallon and St. Charles County MO has to offer during the month of September.

On September 20^th we will entertained by Starship starring Mickey Thomas.  For those of you that may not know this band let me help you.  They evolved from two of the most influential bands in the history of rock and roll, Jefferson Starship by way of Jefferson Airplane.  They will bring a high energy concert of rock and roll classics from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's to T.R. Hughes Ballpark on Saturday, September 20^th. 

The gates will open at 3pm with the Bob Kuban Band and special guest Mitch Ryder opening the concert at 4pm.  They will be followed by Trixie Delight at 6pm with Starship starring Mickey Thomas following at 8pm.  The concert will close with a fireworks display at 9:30pm.

The best part of all this is the ticket prices, check this out; General admission tickets are only $5.00, Lawn Seating is $7.00 and for VIP admission just $15.00.  Tickets may be purchased online at www.ofallon.mo.us or at the ballpark on the day of the event (if they are still available.)
