It’s full speed ahead on the renovation of 8801 E. 81st St in Raytown, MO. Now that all the inspection related details have been wrapped up on 444 Dartmouth the crews have been at this project everyday. If all works out we should be albe to wrap up this remodel sometime next week.
Here is a shot of the kitchen. As you can see the new cabinets have been installed.

Here is a shot of the living room. I love the vaulted ceilings in this room. We haven’t done a remodel on a house with a ceiling like this since 7212 E. 131st.

This is a shot of the master bathroom. Everytime I come in here I’m impressed with how much space this room has.

My friends and fellow Realtors, these are hard times for all, many of us are facing dificult times ourselves. But I have found that nothing takes your mind off your troubles like helpings others in need.
I have been blessed to be a part of one of the most amazing opportunities that has come my way.
If you have heard of the Dream Center and all the good they do then you will know what a great help it will be to have a Midwest based Dream Center right here in Kansas City, MO!.
"This is not a shelter for homeless, it is not a drug rehab facility," said Wiley. "It is a facility to assist the working poor who are dealing with the problem of being just one pay check away from being homeless." (from the Raytown Post)
What does a Dream Center do? A dream center is a place for homeless, poor and lost souls to get back on their feet and help others while helping themselves.
Please read these articles and see how we can help those in need.

The phone calls and email inquiries continue to pour in for this Raytown property. 8801 E 81st ter sits right on the corner of 81st ter and Spring Valley just north of Raytown South Middle Schoool. It appears that affordable housing is in great demand in this part of Raytown I hope we’re able to find another property in this area soon. This weeks post will be a bit shorter than usual. We had to pull off of this project for a few days to wrap up some inspection issues on 444 Dartmouth. Next week we will be hitting this house hard. Right now I’d say we’re about 2 weeks away from being done.
Here is a shot of the kitchen. From the look of things we will be installing cabinets early next week.

Renovation started this week at 8801 E 81st in Raytown, MO. It’s always great to start a renovation knowing that an end buyer is already in place. That being said this is already shaping up to a pretty impressive home for the price. 4 bedroom, 2.5 baths, finished basement, 2 fireplaces. Vizion’s personal crew is doing this house which means that this house is going to get done quickly.
As you can see a lot of the tear out has already been completed. This is going to be a beautiful kitchen with maple cabinets and granite counters when we’re done.

This is going to be the main bath. I’ve already talked to the contractor and we will be placing a double bowl vanity in this bathroom.

This is a shot of the master bathroom. As you can see we’ve really opened this bathroom up. Lots of space in here.

One of the real benefits of this house is that the laundry is on the main level. I’d say that 75% of the homes we do have the laundry either in the basement or in the garage.

As if this house didn’t have enough space upstairs you’ve also got a full finished basement including; family room, half bath, 4th bedroom. This is a shot of the basement bedroom. This room is huge! Rough estimates are 20×16.

Basement family room. On the far left of this room is where the half bath will be located.
