Last week while showing homes to the Minton family who are relocating to St Joseph,
we took a break and visited Kris & Kate's Old Fashioned Ice Cream Shoppe.
Their twin 5 year old daughters Tara & Cara immediately liked the
BIG PINK ICE CREAM CONE BUILDING and had quite a time in selecting which one of the
ice cream treats from the menu as their choice.
Kris and her daughter Erica offer a warm welcome to customers at the fun family oriented store.

Kris & Kate's Ice Cream shoppe offers special parking for Harley's, volleyball nets, sand-pits for the kids along with the-best-selection-of-ice cream-treats to be enjoyed at picnic tables or at the gazebo area while listening to the goldie oldie music.
Kris & Kate's Ice Cream Treats is located at Belt Highway and 36th Street

The weather is beginning to feel like spring at long last...as I glanced across the lake last night I felt my eyes were seeing double. Area residents will soon be bringing the fishing boats out, along with the kids throwing in their fishing poles, boating in the rubber rafts and canoes. Life is fun at the Lake especially during the summer. One of our local churches brings their kids every year and to see over 100 kids fishing and having fun is truly a precious moment.

St Joseph is known for its quality of beautiful mansions.

In 1920, Houston Wyeth built the Georgian design mansion for his family. The mansion included a total of 21,133 square feet with 15,332 square feet of living area, nestled on 24-gated acres.
The general exterior features stucco with red clay tile roof, separate guardhouse, cabana and a small barn.
Solarium's include tile floors and circle head windows with domed plaster ceilings.

In 1984 a local investment group purchased the Houston Wyeth Mansion, transforming the property to a professional office building. The front portion of the grounds is St Joseph's finest professional office business parks with 9 freestanding individually owned buildings with the Georgian design.

The guardhouse a perfect individual professional office building.

Completely secluded among the mature trees at the rear portion of the acreage, perfectly designed is the "Antilles" of 15 upscale Town homes.
